Well, inevitably, Hollywood has finally unleashed a glut of copycats so we don’t seem to go a single week without having to deal with a BARNYARD, CHICKEN LITTLE or THE WILD. Forget this and rent MONSTER HOUSE instead. | |||

*SUPERMAN RETURNS (dir: Bryan Singer, PG-13) – In this satisfyingly traditional update of the least hip superhero going, Kevin Spacey has a blast as Lex Luthor, Parker Posey’s hair is really out of control and that new kid makes no real impression except that he looks a spooky amount like Christopher Reeve. | |||
