MINIVER, but Ronald Colman, ever the cultured gentleman, gets unfairly overlooked as one of the great stars of the silver screen - as charismatic as a Clark Gable or a Cary Grant, if you ask me. He's probably at his best in this romantic tear-jerker about a shell-shocked WWI vet with amnesia and the woman who won't stop loving him, even though he doesn't remember her. Sure, the plot's kind of absurd, but I promise you'll get sucked in by this really well-made piece of Hollywood gloss."
